

Mrs. Susan D. (Clapp) Orleans, age 60, of Goffstown, NH, died suddenly on Saturday, November 2, 2013. She has reunited in heaven with her late husband, Robert Orleans who passed away in 2008. Sue was born in Ayer, MA and had been a resident of Goffstown for over 30 years, previously residing in Milford.
She worked as an LNA at the Hillsborough County Nursing Home and later at the Elliot Hospital. She also worked as a bus driver for the Goffstown Truck Center for over 15 years. She was a member of the Community Emergency Response Team in Goffstown.
Sue enjoyed her grandchildren and couldn’t wait to spend time with them and cherished trips to the beach in her spare time. She was a foster parent for over 30 years and loved helping kids. She will be remembered as a very giving woman and beloved member of the community.
She leaves two sons: Tomas Orleans and his wife Tanya of Goffstown and Naythan Orleans and his wife Susan of TN; four daughters: Wendy Brianas of Hudson, Shari Smith of Milford, Stacy Gates and her husband Walter of Goffstown and Mary Tavares and her husband Tony of MT; one brother and two sisters. Sue is also survived by grandchildren, Nicole, Nitashia, Nathan, Emily, Sarah, Tyler, Calvin, Gage, Ashlynd, Lilly, Liam, MacKenzie, Avery, Robert and Dublin, great grandchildren Jordan and Anthony, and many nieces and nephews.
Calling Hours were held in the ZIS-SWEENEY FUNERAL HOME, 26 Kinsley St. Nashua on Friday from 5-7PM. A Memorial Service was held at 6:30PM.
