Survivors include her daughter, Carol (Tom) McKinney of Fairhope, AL; grandchildren, Christopher Scott (Lindsay) McKinney of Madison, MS and Melissa Kay (Clayton) McInnis of Montgomery, AL; great-grandchildren, Abigail McKinney, Lilly McKinney, Anderson McInnis, and Edwin McInnis.
Charlotte was preceded in death by her parents, Van and Mary Montgomery; her husband of 61 years, Joel T. Gardner; and her siblings Robert Montgomery, Ralph Montgomery, and Rosemary Amt.
