Jeff Boley, 56, of Nashville, Indiana passed away Monday morning, January 12, in his home surrounded by love. He had been battling leptomeningeal melanoma for the past year. Jeff was happily married for 30 years to Rhea Ellen Boley. Together they have two children, Casey Boley, 29 and Lacey Boley, 26. Jeff loved spending time in the company of his family and friends while boating, traveling abroad, sightseeing and watching football. Jeff was originally from St. Mary’s, Ohio, graduated 1976 from Memorial High School. He then attended Butler University in Indianapolis, Indiana where he met his loving wife Rhea Ellen; both graduates of Butler pharmacy. Jeff began his career at Labrico’s Pharmacy in Broad Ripple, Indiana, he then became part owner of Albany Rexall Drugs in Albany, Indiana before moving to Brown County in 1986. Jeff was a well-known pharmacist at the local Nashville, Indiana CVS for 28 years. He was an inspiring mentor to countless adolescents while pursuing his passion of coaching junior high wrestling and football for the Brown County School system for 10 years. Jeff was an integral part of the community as he was a prominent member of Nashville United Methodist Church, a chairman for the Brown County Board of Health and active board member for Brown County’s soup kitchen, Mother’s Cupboard. Jeff was deeply committed in the fundraising process of building the much needed new home for the soup kitchen. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Project Helping Hands so that we may finish what Jeff so dearly wanted to see through. Please make checks payable to Brown County Community Foundation and mark in the memo line “Jeff Boley-Helping Hands.” These should be sent to Brown County Community Foundation, P.O. Box 191, Nashville, Indiana 47448.

Jeff would not want us to worry about him, he would say “I’m just peachy up here water skiing in Heaven”
