

She was a lifelong resident of Nashville & member of the Nashville Christian Church. Mary Agnes was a client of the semi-independent living program of Developmental Services Incorporated, administered from Columbus, IN. She was a maker of fine crocheted household items & she wove recycled fabrics into much sought after rugs, many of which were sold in Nashville gift shops. She loved dressing up as a pioneer homemaker at various local functions & operating the antique loom for visitors at the Brown County Historical Museum.
Her funeral will be conducted at Bond-Mitchell Funeral Home on Thursday, November 17 at 11:00 A.M. with Pastor Rick Clayton officiating. The family will receive visitors on Thursday from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service at the funeral home.
Mary was born in Brown County February 9, 1930, the daughter of Boyd & May (Roberts) Monroe. They preceded her in death.
Survivors include a brother, Dr. George Monroe, Evanston, IL. & five nieces.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Brown County Historical Society, P.O. box 668, Nashville, IN. 47448, in memory of Mary Agnes Monroe.
