Peggy Ann Powell

Peggy was born on May 11, 1943, in Dayton, Ohio. She graduated from Centerville High School in 1961 and later attended cosmetology school. She worked for many years as a beautician and business owner before serving as a corrections officer at the London Correctional Facility, retiring in 2009.

Peggy loved spending time with her family, crafting, traveling to Canada, watching crime TV, and enjoying romance novels. Her creativity, humor, and warmth touched everyone who knew her.

She is survived by her children: Robin (Dennis) McMasters, Tony (Sue) Beam, Robert Powell, and Donald Powell; along with 22 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and more on the way.

Peggy was preceded in death by her son, George Beam; her brother, Tom Sipe; and her parents, Robert and Velvie Olene Sipe.

A visitation will be held on November 14, 2025, from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm at Bond-Mitchell Funeral Home, located at 1682 State Road 135 N, Nashville, Indiana, 47448.

The funeral service will follow at the same location at 2:00 pm.
