Roger was a Civil War Enthusiast, he enjoyed woodworking, Cadillacs, Collection Brown County Art, and feeding the wildlife. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
Roger is survived by his wife, Janet Beckemeyer, his two sons, Brad Beckemeyer and his wife Jill and Ben Beckemeyer and his wife Tracy; a sister, Jeanie Beckemeyer, three brothers, Ron Beckemeyer and his wife Jan, Bob Beckemeyer and his wife Theresa, and Dick Beckemeyer and his wife Gail; and five grandchildren, Kyle, Lillian, and Chase Beckemeyer and Hope and Faith Zink.
Visitation will be held from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m., Saturday, February 7, 2026, at Bond-Mitchell Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held on Monday, February 9, 2026, at Beckemeyer Cemetery in Beckemeyer, Illinois.
