Stephen Dale Crandall, age 68, of Nashville, Indiana passed away Monday evening, September 29, 2025 at the Brown County Health and Living Community in Nashville. Born September 25, 1957 in Lebanon, Indiana, he was the son of Leland Dale and Barbara Ann (Caldwell) Crandall. After high school, Stephen studied to be a HVAC technician and retired as a master floor covering installer. He enjoyed gathering with family and friends and going to Brown County State Park where he operated remote control boats on Ogle Lake in the park along with family and friends. He also enjoyed remote control cars. He loved many animals, especially cats.
Stephen is survived by his son, Matthew Crandall and his wife, Gabriella of Trafalgar, Indiana, his step-daughter, Autumn Bowden, of Fishers, Indiana, his sister, Christy Crandall and her companion, Marion Banzhaf, of Nashville and five grandchildren, Eric, Braylan, Laura, Kiya, and Ezekiel.
He was preceded in death by his father, Leland Crandall and Barbara Ann Crandall Sumner and his former wife, Laura Bowden Crandall.
There will be no services or visitation at this time.
