Susan Elaine Hardin, age 58, of Bloomington, passed away Wednesday, February 12, 2025 at I,U. Health Bloomington Hospital. Born June 26, 1966 in Bloomington, she was the daughter of Phillip and Pat (Strevels) Hardin. Susan had worked at Monroe Hospital as a medical receptionist before becoming ill. She also had formerly worked at Hotel Nashville. She loved her dogs.
Susan is survived by her mother, Pat Hardin, of Nashville, Indiana, her companion, George Doehla, of Bloomington, her son, Ryan Hardin, of Nashville, her sister, Karen (Art) Tye, of Orange City, Florida and her two granddaughters, Neela Hardin and Marley Hardin.
She was preceded in death by her father in 1988, one sister, Tracy Coulter and one brother, Phillip Hardin, Jr.
The funeral service will be held on Monday, February 17 at 2:00 p.m. at the Bond-Mitchell Funeral Home in Nashville. Interment will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery. Friends may visit the family on Monday from 12 noon to 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
The family suggests memorial contributions be given to a local animal shelter.
