Teresa Mae Umbreit

Teresa Mae Umbreit, 65, of Nashville died unexpectedly in her home Monday, April 12, 2021. She was born April 26, 1955 in Beech Grove to Jack Acton and Delores Joyce Acton. She was a florist. Survivors include a son, Jack A. Haggard (wife Denise Haggard) of Monrovia; a daughter, Angela M. Ross of Anderson; five grandchildren, Emma Ross and Sara Ross both of Indianapolis, Kyle Ross of Anderson, Jared Haggard of Cicero and T. Blake Davis of Bloomfield; two sisters, Faith Stephens of Nashville and Elizabeth Goldsberry of Bloomington; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Delores Acton; and two brothers, Bryan Acton and Vernon Acton. Teresa was a Florist by trade working in Indianapolis, Greenwood and Bloomington during various portions of her career. She grew up in Indianapolis and attended school there. She loved spending time with her family, the outdoors, working in gardens and with flowers. No public services are planned at this time. Arrangements are under the direction of Bond-Mitchell Funeral Home.
