

Velma was a homemaker. She was a member of Nashville United Methodist Church, League of Women’s Voters, Republican Women, & Brown County Historical Society. Velma loved gardening, working in her flowers, & visiting with family & friends.
Survivors include, two sons, Edward A. (Lana) Wrightsman, Nashville, Thomas Charles Wrightsman, Valparaiso, FL., three daughters, Judith L. Brown, Bloomington, Sandra L. Taylor, Edgewater, FL., Patricia A. (Wayne) Graphman, Martinsville, one sister, Helen Moore, Helmsburg, 15 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, & 4 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Charles Wrightsman, daughter, Joyce M. Turnbull, & grandson, Jesse Sturm.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, July 5 at 2:00 P.M. at Nashville United Methodist Church, 36 S. Jefferson St. Burial will follow at Duncan Cemetery. The family will receive visitors Tuesday at the church from 1:00-2:00 P.M. & on Monday, July 4 from 4:00-8:00 P.M. at Bond-Mitchell Funeral Home.
