Alice Jo Tritschler McNamee of Nashville, Tennessee, died Sunday, August 27, 2017, at age 92. Preceded in death by her parents, Harrison Taber and Alice Dance Tritschler; husband, Thomas Walsh McNamee; brothers, Thomas, Philip, Matthew and Edward Tritschler. Survived by her sister Jean Bittle of Knoxville, Tennessee; sons Marc (Becky) McNamee of Nashville, Tennessee and Jon “Pete” (Julia) McNamee of Woodruff, South Carolina; Grandchildren David (Elizabeth) McNamee of Brooklyn, New York, Brian McNamee of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, Jane McNamee of New Orleans, Louisiana and Bradyn (Leah) Roddy of Simpsonville, South Carolina; and great-grandchildren, Marc Raymond McNamee, Caleb, Natalie, and Max Roddy. Alice was a long time member of Glen Leven Presbyterian Church. Graveside services will be held at eleven o’clock in the morning on Wednesday, August 30, 2017, at Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home with visitation one hour prior to service. Memorial donations in her honor may be given to Glen Leven Presbyterian Church or to the Nashville Union Mission.
