Alton B. Brown, Jr., 87, of Nashville, passed away on Wednesday, January 6, 2021. Alton was born on September 23, 1933 in Nashville, the son of Alton B. and Mary Florence Whitehurst Brown, Sr., and they precede him in death.
Surviving is a son, Barry (Fiancée, Anita Cook) Brown of Nashville; daughter, Wyomme (husband, Kenny) Franklin of Lithia, FL; step-son, Dean (wife, Dede) Powers of Nashville; step-daughter, Kim (husband, James) Dalton of Cocoa Beach, FL; 7 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; one sister, Betty McClendon of Nashville; and two brothers, Tom (wife, Jewel) Brown of Nashville and William Brown of Smyrna.
A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held from twelve o’clock until one o’clock on Tuesday, January 12, 2021 at Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life will follow at one o’clock in Woodlawn’s Dignity Hall with Pastor Bill Highsmith officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Park.
