
Ann Duff Kisker Caver, of Nashville, Tennessee, passed away April 11, 2026, at the age of 85. She was born on March 31, 1941, in Cincinnati, Ohio and grew up there. She graduated from Walnut Hills High School in 1959 and from Miami University with a Bachelor of Science in Business with a major in Marketing in 1963.
In 1964, Ann married Michael David Caver, her husband and partner until he passed in 2024. They had met in a pub in Harwich, England, while waiting to return home by boat after touring England and the continent. While Mike pursued his career and took the family from Cincinnati to Toronto, Ontario, back to Cincinnati and to Deerfield, Illinois, Ann kept their homes, became a terrific cook and raised their three sons, Giles, Jonathan and Brendan. Ann and Mike enjoyed traveling and took their sons to destinations throughout North America, Europe and parts of Asia. Outside the home, she worked for years at the Deerfield Public Library and the Career Resource Center in Lake Forest, Illinois and volunteered at Chicago Botanic Garden in Glencoe, Illinois.
Ann is preceded in death by Mike, her parents, William and Jean Kisker; and grandson, William Caver. She is survived by her sons, Giles (and Jennifer), Jonathan (and Laurie), and Brendan (and Eileen); seven grandchildren, Henry, Sarah Jean, Emma, Tim, Molly, Matthew and Sabina Caver; sisters, Amanda Davisson and Toni Skinner; cousin, Joan Affleck Robinson; nephews, Edward, Joseph and Thomas Davisson and Daniel and Casey Skinner; and nieces, Summerlyn Livingston and Samanatha Monroe.
The family would like to thank the staff at Woodcrest at Blakeford for the care and compassion they showed Ann in her final days. Her sons want to thank all of her friends who have been so kind in remembering her and in acknowledging their loss.
The family plans to hold a visitation and memorial service at Blakeford at Green Hills on Saturday, August 1.
