Anna grew up in Celina, TN and after high school graduation moved to Nashville, TN to attend college. Anna’s passion was her faith. She is a long-standing member of Perry Heights Church of Christ and loved her church family. Anna loved spending time with her family, she went by two different names – Her family called her Laureen and her in-law’s called her Annabell which was given to her by her father in law and it just seemed to stick with her. Anna loved being outdoors- fishing, suntanning and being around water. Anna loved to watch football and always cheered for the home teams (Titans, Vanderbilt and Vols). Anna loved all types of racing. She especially loved watching family race- She was her son in law and grandson biggest fan. Anna always knew for the holidays to make sure to make her famous chocolate pie.
Anna was preceded in death by her parents Ephraim Cherry, Nellie Arms Cherry, her beloved husband of 57 years, Larry Junior Wallace and a brother Dwight Cherry.
Anna is survived by her daughter: Shannon (Howard) Tucker, grandson, Tony Signoracci, granddaughters; Courtney Signoracci and Tiffany Garmon, and 5 bonus great grandchildren, brother, Charles (Doris) Cherry and a sisters Wanda White and Nancy (J.B.) Dailey
Visitation will be held Friday September 13, 2024 from 4:00 – 8:00PM and again Saturday 9:00 – 11:00AM at the Hibbett & Hailey Funeral Home 429 Donelson Pike, Nashville, Tn where services will be held at 11:00AM. Interment will be held at the Cherry Cemetery, Celina, Tennessee at 2:30 PM.
