Betty S. Ervin age 85, passed away on January 12, 2021 in Nashville, TN. Betty was born in Tullahoma, TN on August 6, 1935 to Joseph and Omadell Phillips. She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Ervin; her parents; and all of her brothers and her sister. She is survived by her daughter, Pamela (John “Buddy”) Phillips; step grandchild, John “Johnno” (Lisa); and one step great-grandchild, Evelyn “Evie”.
Betty had a very outgoing personality, and she loved with her whole heart even if it didn’t show on the outside. She loved the Titans, and she worked at the YMCA at Maryland Farms and volunteered at St. Thomas West End after retiring from AMF Bowling Center Incorporated. She attended Judson Baptist Church.
A Graveside Service will be held on Monday, January 18, 2021 at two o’clock in the afternoon at Woodlawn Memorial Park, 660 Thompson Lane, Nashville, TN 37204.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Betty’s honor to the American Heart Association, or to a charity of the donor’s choice.
