Betty Lou Frost, age 91 of Nashville, Tennessee departed this life on September 11, 2020. She was born on September 28, 1928 in South Bend, Indiana to the late Edward E. (Earl) & Sue Holton Hanson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by Step-father, Howard Ralston, Husband, James L. (Leon) Frost, Sisters, Josie Hanson and Barbara Russell, Granddaughter, Jennifer Crane, Son-in-law, Fred (Bud) Hardeman and Daughter-in-law, Felicity Frost.
Betty retired after 28 years with the Veterans Administration assisting disabled veterans with their benefits. She was a long-time member of Antioch Church of Christ.
Betty was the rock of our family, a very caring and giving person, who loved everyone and accepted them just as they were. She was loved by everyone and was everyone’s favorite. She enjoyed being with family in whatever setting, but especially traveling with family.
She is survived by her son, Jim (Kathy) Frost, daughter, Connie Hardeman, sons, Barry (Charlotte) Frost and Garry Frost, numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; sister, Jane Landa, a brother, David Ralston, and a sister, Donna Priesmeyer.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at one o'clock Thursday, September 17, 2020 at Antioch Church of Christ (2142 Antioch Pike Antioch TN 37013). A gathering of family and friends will be held at the church from eleven in the morning until time of services at one o'clock in the afternoon.
The family will have a private entombment to be held at Woodlawn Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations to the American Cancer Society or Willowbrook Hospice.
