Carolyn Faye Bracey, born March 20, 1963, passed away May 18, 2026. Carolyn was the much loved daughter of Harry Bracey and Dorothy Wade Bracey who predeceased her. She was also predeceased by brother Howard Wade Bracey. Survivors include sister, Vivian Brandon, brother-in law, Terry Sensing, brother, Ronald Bracey, niece Elizabeth Unger and husband Ryan Unger, nephew Coburn Brandon and fiancée, Cindy Jones and great-nephews, Brandon Ryan Unger and Jon Roman Unger. Carolyn was a 1981 graduate of John Overton High School where she was a tremendous athlete lettering in tennis and track. She went on to receive a full tennis scholarship to UT Knoxville. She was also very athletic in middle school as a competitive softball pitcher. In addition to her athletic skills, Carolyn was a gifted music student. Carolyn will always be remembered as a devout Catholic and member of St. Mary’s Church in downtown Nashville. May she rest in peace and find her devoted mother in heaven.
There will be a private service for family at Woodlawn Memorial Park.
