Age 100. After a healthy, happy, and blessed earthly life, this faithful follower of Jesus Christ was called home to heaven on September 25, 2021. Carolyn was a stay-at-home mom and homemaker; a gifted pianist, seamstress, and humorist; and a life-long church and community volunteer. She lived with purpose and gratitude and was an absolute delight to her family and host of friends. Born and raised in Franklin, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late Hugh and Carrie Jamison; sister of the late Thomas Jamison, Fonz Jamison, and Gilbert Jamison. Preceded to heaven by beloved husband of 40 years, Wilson T. Caldwell.
Dearly loved and sadly missed by children: Don (Sue) Caldwell, Doug (Keatha) Caldwell, and Debbie (John) Whisenant; grandchildren: Lori (Harold) Reed, Lana (Brian) Wargo, D.R. Caldwell, Karyn Caldwell, Andy (Jennifer) Whisenant, and Ben (Katie) Whisenant; great-grandchildren: Lauren (John) Harland, Nicholas Reed, Chloe Caldwell, Braylon Wargo, Benson Wargo, and Grayson Whisenant; nieces: Carole Fitzgerald, Eloise (Bob) White, and Annette (Ed) Kelly.
Memorial service will be Saturday, October 9, 2021 at 10:30 a.m. at Victory Baptist Church, 1777 Tate Lane, Mount Juliet, TN 37122 with John Whisenant officiating. Visitation with the family will follow the Service. Private family interment at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. Honorary casket bearers: D.R. Caldwell, Brian Wargo, Harold Reed, Andy Whisenant, Ben Whisenant, Bill Boone, George Shotwell, and Scott Rye.
