BURRUM, Charles Harris, age 59, Departed this life to be with his Lord and Savior on the eleventh of September 2012. He was born on the sixth of February 1953 in Nashville, Tennessee. He is survived by his loving wife of forty years, Shirley L. Burrum; his parents, Lula and Charles Burrum; three children, Bryant (Jennifer) Burrum, Stephen Burrum and Karen Burrum; three sisters, Patty Burrum, Sandy (Glenn) Harbin and Cynthia (Johnny) Kelly; two brothers, Gary (Judy) Burrum and Randy (Beth) Burrum; six grandchildren, Shelby, Faithlyn, Hunter, Keith, Connor and Jordan; Several nieces, nephews and cousins. Charles was a 1971 graduate of Central High School. He was an avid hunter, fisherman and a big fan of Vanderbilt Commodores and Atlanta Braves. He was a loving son, husband, father, grandfather and friend. Funeral Services will be held at eleven thirty in the morning on Friday the fourteenth of September 2012 at Woodlawn’s Dignity Hall, with longtime friend, Pastor Mike Briggs to officiate and Interment to follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be family and friends. The family will receive friends from four o’clock until eight o’clock in the evening on Thursday the thirteenth of September 2012 at Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home & Memorial Park.
