Christopher Michael Keogh, a beloved Nashville native, passed away peacefully on June 6, 2025, at the age of 36. Chris lived life fully and fiercely—always in motion, always seeking something deeper. Whether he was scaling a mountain trail or diving into a new project, he embraced life with a rare passion and sense of purpose.
A man of deep faith, Chris was devoted to serving others. He poured his energy into helping those in need, particularly through his vision of bringing the Word of God into prison ministries. His empathy was boundless—he had a soft spot for animals and an instinctive tenderness for the elderly, often going out of his way to offer companionship or care where it was most needed.
Chris was never afraid to stand out or speak truth. He leaves behind a legacy of authenticity, his radiant smile, and a humor that could light up any room. To know Chris was to be reminded of what it means to love boldly and live honestly.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. James and Anna Ikerd; Mr. and Mrs. Gerald and Peggy Keogh; and his older brother, Michael Keogh.
Chris is survived by his mother, Anna Marie Ikerd; father, Mike Keogh; and brother, Patrick Keogh. He is also fondly remembered by Sara Watkins, a significant and cherished part of his life, along with many friends, family members, and those whose lives he touched.
Chris was loved deeply—and he loved just as deeply in return. He will be missed beyond words.
