A graduate of Central High School, Claudia worked in retail at Aladdin Industries, where she was known for her dedication and warm personality. She had a deep love for her family, friends, and flowers, which brought her joy throughout her life.
In 1978, she married Eldridge A. Ashburn in Nashville. He preceded her in death.
Claudia is survived by her children, John D. Allen Sr. (Cathy) and Stanley Ashburn (Laura); her sister, Anita Cleveland; six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, Richard Allen, and her brothers, James Reed and Raymond Reed; and sister, Johnnie Lou Lilly.
Claudia will be remembered for her kindness, love of family, and the beauty she brought to the world.
A visitation for Claudia will be held Wednesday, August 6, 2025 from 12:00pm to 2:00pm at Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home & Memorial Park, 660 Thompson Ln, Nashville, TN 37204. A funeral service conducted by David Allen Jr. will occur Wednesday, August 6, 2025 following visitation at 2:00pm and burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park, 660 Thompson Ln, Nashville, TN 37204.
