Claybon Ray Tucker, age 90 of La Vergne, TN passed away April 13, 2024. He was born in Nashville, TN on July 1, 1933.
He is survived by his wife Daisy Buck Tucker of 59 years, sons Samuel Lawrence Tucker and Daniel Clay Tucker and one granddaughter Kameron Taylor Tucker Peck (and her husband Taylor Peck). He is survived by his sister Syble Tucker Johnson. He is survived by many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents Samuel Lee Tucker and Annis Ray Tucker. He is preceded in death by his brother Andy Tucker, sisters Sara Tucker James and Johnny Tucker Burnette and their spouses. He is preceded in death by nephews Ronnie Tucker, Gowan Johnson, Jr and Tommy Burnette and niece Andrea Tucker Zongor.
He was a 1953 Central High School graduated. He served in the Army stationed in Germany. He was a graduate of Tennessee Tech. He was retired from Avco/Textron after 30 years of service. He was a member of the Highland Heights Church of Christ. He was an avid outdoorsman, a member of the Hermitage Sportsmans Club, he hunted and fished anytime he could, he loved fishing in Canada and spending time working on home projects. He loved spending time with family and friends. He was dearly loved and will be forever missed but never forgotten.
