The Binford's moved to Nashville, Tennessee in 1958 where they remain in the Nashville area.
Thomas W Binford Jr died March 24, 1972, leaving Clementine with three boys to raise. By this time, they were all teenagers. She has been a wonderful mother giving of herself and life to her family. If we could say anything about our mother, she loved us and did her best for us.
Clementine was active in a bunco group of ladies who were lifelong friends. She tried her hand at real estate and other means of support. Her passion and gift was her art. Clementine was an accomplished artist whose paintings are in the homes of her family. She painted landscapes, birds and animals, and portraits of family pets. Her media included pastels, acrylics, and oil paints.
Clementine Binford was a member of the Forest Hills United Methodist Church and the Rena Green Sunday School Class.
Clementine Binford is survived by Thomas W Binford Ill (Carolyn), Robert A Binford (Tammy), and Paul R Binford (Katy). There are seven grandchildren: Levi Binford (Donna), Matthew Binford, Ross Binford, Caleb Binford (Leslie), Trevor Peterson (Elaine), Ryan Peterson (Monica) and Andrea Grimes (Brad), nine great grandchildren, and six great great- grandchildren.
