Preceded in death by her parents, Dr. Ray and Mrs. Glenda Hogan. Survived by loving husband Drew Storm, daughters Kimberly Cates & Christie Taylor, grandson Michael Cates, son-in-law Chase Taylor, aunt and uncle Judith and Charles Ray, cousin Steve Simpson, and many other relatives, friends, and colleagues.
A native Nashvillian, she graduated from Antioch High School. Cindy attended Vanderbilt University, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Engineering. She was a chemical engineer at an organophosphate plant, then was a professional environmental engineer for the State of Tennessee for almost thirty years. She enjoyed gardening, flowers, beaches and most of all her family.
A gathering of family and friends for Cynthia will be held Sunday, September 25, 2022 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home & Memorial Park, 660 Thompson Ln, Nashville, TN 37204. Gathering will continue on Monday, September 26, 2022 beginning at 11:00AM with a celebration of life service at 1:00 PM, in Woodlawn's Dignity Hall.
