David Lee Gaines Nashville, Tennessee – David Lee Gaines, age 60, passed away on Tuesday, May 3rd, 2022. He was born on January 18th, 1962 in Nashville, Tennessee to the late Donald Lee Gaines and Sara Jean Norton. David is survived by daughter, Annie Michelle Black; step-son, Michael Casey Hicks; daughter, Shelby Michaela Gaines; son, Mitchell Gene Russell Gaines; grandchildren, Aiden Levi Black, Elias Parker Black, and Eleanor Grace Black; ex-wife, Angelia Gaines; and brothers, Robert Gaines, Andy Gaines, and Eric Gaines. David began working at Graybar at 17 years old. He was devoted to his work and stayed dedicated to Graybar until he retired. David proudly graduated in 1985 from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville receiving a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering. His pride and passion was the world of cars and motorcycles. He took a special interest in British bikes with his all-time favorite being Triumphs. A Celebration of Life Service will be held from ten o'clock in the morning until twelve noon on on Saturday May 21st, 2022 at The Experience Community Church in Murfreesboro, Tennessee.
