PETTY, Dodie Ann – age 38 passed away on February 24, 2012. Mrs. Petty was a beloved wife, mother, sister, and daughter. She is survived by her husband Thaxton K. Petty, Jr.; father William T. Cox, Jr.; mother Patricia M. Moses; children Mason Petty and Courtney Petty; Brother James C. Moses; and sisters Vickie Bates, Bettie Thornton, and Mary Moses. Mrs. Petty was employed for 16 years by Saia Motor Freight. She was an aspiring author who was always willing to expand her wisdom and knowledge. Visitation will be held Monday 4:00-8:00pm and funeral services will be held Tuesday at noon, both at Marshall-Donnelly-Combs Funeral Home. Burial will be at Hermitage Memorial Gardens in Old Hickory following the service.
