Don Burr, 84 of Brentwood passed away on September 8, 2020. He was born in Robertson County and grew up as a farm kid in Robertson County. He attended school at Cedar Hill Bell in Adams and Jo Burns. He was drafted into the US Army, serving his time in Alaska. He worked for Consoer Townsend and Associates Engineering for 24 years and Sverdrup Engineering for 7 years and serving Metro Nashville Water and Sewer Services.
He was predeceased by his wife Ruby Lucille "Luci" Gragg Burr and his parents Frank Gilbert and Ethel Pinson Burr, Sisters Lillian Bryant, Rachel Murphy, Sue Silchuk and Brothers Juston Burr, Billy Burr, and his twin Dan Burr. He is survived by his children Karl Stephen Burr, Kimberly Dawn Butler, Grandsons Michael Rhett Butler, Ashlin Blake Butler, Granddaughters Rachael Lynn Norris, Natalie Rhea Lenihan and great granddaughter Rowan Ember Norris. There will be a gathering of family and friends on Saturday September 12, from three o'clock until six o'clock pm at Woodlawn Roesch Patton Funeral Home and on Sunday September 13 from noon until service time at one pm in Dignity Hall.
