Donald McFolin

Mr. McFolin was a commercial free-lance artist and wild life artist. His interests were genealogy and preservation of the bald eagle. He served as a private in the United States Army during the Vietnam War, Germany and later served in the Tennessee National Guard. He graduated from the University of Tennessee. He was also very active in his community and country.

He is survived by wife Phyllis Elaine Myers McFolin; son Patrick Ryan McFolin; brother Dwight McFolin of Huntsville, AL; his niece as well as many aunts, uncles,and cousins.

He is preceded in death by parents Roy Lee McFolin and Ione R. McFolin; grandparents Odis McFolin and Doris McFolin; Maternal Grand Father Frederick (Lottie) Rice.

Gathering of Family & Friends Tuesday December 21, 2021 from 12:00-2:00pm at Hibbett and Hailey Funeral Home. Celebration of Life will begin at 2:00pm in the Chapel at Hibbett and Hailey Funeral Home. Burial 10:00am on Wednesday December 22nd at Middle Tennessee Veterans Cemetery 7931 McCory Lane Nashville.

Pallbeareres include Patrick Ryan McFolin, Greg Myers, Larry Carter, Dwain Myers and Jeffrey W. Myers, honorary pallbearers Stephen R. York and Graham Reed.
