Dorothy Ann Appleton, age 87 passed away on Thursday June 20, 2019. She is preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Appleton; daughter, Karen Colyer; siblings, James Barr, Billy Barr, Martha Wright, Carolyn Gibson, Benny Barr and Elsie Ford.
She is survived by her daughter, Sherrie Kolak (Tony); sisters, Betty Bailey (Harold) and Nancy Christian; grandchildren, Michael Colyer (Rebecca), Ashley Smith (Michael), Erin Raftery (Kevin) and Rachel Sutton (Ryan); great-grandchildren, Wyatt, Ethan, Riley, Lucy, Audrey, James, Remy and Martin.
A Celebration of Life Service will be 2:00 pm Thursday, June 27, 2019 at Hibbett & Hailey Funeral Home, 429 Donelson Pike, Nashville, Tennessee with Bro. Gordon Donohoe officiating. Interment will follow at Hermitage Memorial Gardens in Old Hickory, Tennessee. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
Visitation with the family will be from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM Thursday at the funeral home
