Preceded in passing by her parents, Dorothy Grace and R.T. Darrow.
Survived by her sons, Vinson and Terry VanDolen; sister, Betty Hunt; brother, Paul Darrow; granddaughter, Betty Jean VanDolen; and favorite cousin and best friend, Donnie Browing.
Dorothy Jean graduated from Bellevue High School in 1957 and was an avid sports fan.
Visitation will be held at Woodlawn Roesch-Patton Funeral Home on Monday, January 9, 2017, from five to eight o’clock in the evening and again on Tuesday, January 10, 2017 from ten to eleven-thirty, with funeral service at eleven-thirty.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Humane Society in her honor.
