Edith Margurite Dunn

Edith Margurite Dunn, 94, of Nolensville, Tennessee, passed away on Saturday, August 26, 2023, in Franklin, Tennessee. Margurite was born to George and Classie (Hale) McCormack in Nashville, Tennessee, on July 3, 1929.

Margurite graduated from East High School, in Nashville, Tennessee, (Class of 1947.) She married Steve Warren Dunn, on January 3, 1950, in Nashville, Tennessee. She worked at Genesco in Nashville, Tennessee for over 50 years. Margurite was a member of the Tusculum Church of Christ in Nashville, Tennessee.

Margurite is survived by her son Steve R. (Marsha) Dunn of Pleasant View; her daughters Tonna Hutchison of Nolensville, Rose-Marie (Mark) Beaster of Nashville, Laurel (Chris) Burton of Columbia; her grandchildren Jesse (Sarah) Dunn, Shelby Dowdy, John (Cory) Scurlock, Mandi (Josh) Terry, Josh (Wendy) Scurlock, Toni (Shannon) Sneed, Derek (Sara) Brady, Kelry (Kasey) Mann, Abby Burton; her great-grandchildren Hunter (Allie) Scurlock, Mack Scurlock, Preston Terry, Maddi Terry, John Luke Terry, Taleigh Scurlock, Tate Scurlock, Taylor Mae Sneed, Wren Sneed, Duvall Brady.

Other than her parents, Margurite is preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Steve W. Dunn.

A gathering of family & friends for Margurite will be held Monday, August 28, 2023, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and Tuesday, August 29, 2023, from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM. The Celebration of Life will be Tuesday, August 29, 2023, at 1:00 PM, all at Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home, 660 Thompson Ln, Nashville, TN 37204.
