BROGDEN, Edwin Hamilton. Following an extended illness Ed died peacefully at his home in Eastland, White County, Tennessee, on May 4, 2011. He was born in Schenectady, New York on March 22, 1949. He was the son of the late Morris Hamilton Brogden, the grandson of Margaret and John Higgins, Faith and Vernon Brogden. Ed's mother, Katherine Higgins Brogden, his brother John, his sisters Katherine Freeman, Margaret Petre, Mary Oxley, their spouses’, his paternal and maternal uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, a great-nephew and cousins survive him. He was loved and respected by his many friends who will miss him, his loyalty and his great humor. His extended loving and caring family will gather for a private family prayer service and interment on the Brogden-Family burial site in Calvary Cemetery, Nashville, Tennessee.Arrangements under the direction of Marshall Donnelly Combs Funeral Home, Nashville, Tennessee.
