Elsie Dunn Harris

Mrs. Elsie Dunn Harris, age 99, of Nashville, TN, passed away on Wednesday, August 16, 2017. Mrs. Harris was born in White Bluff, TN, on February 17, 1918. She was the daughter of the late George Allen Dunn and Mary Lydia Wilson Dunn. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 23 years, M/Sgt. James Marshall Harris. She was also preceded in death by one sister and three brothers.

She is survived by daughter, Jimmie Maria Harris, grand-daughter, Jamie Johnson Beeman and great grand-daughter, Sydnie Beeman. She is also survived by daughter, Lydia Harris Hampton and family. She was the most incredible mother, grandma and great-grandma anyone could have ever asked for. She loved Jimmie, Jamie and Sydnie more than anything. (Even though she loved Jamie the best!!!) We will miss her so much.She was a member of the Eastern Stars and Woodbine United Methodist Church. Visitation will be held Thursday, August 17, 2017, from five o’clock until seven o’clock in the evening at Woodlawn Roesch-Patton Funeral Home. Second visitation Friday August 18th from eleven o’clock in the morning until one o’clock in the afternoon. Funeral to begin at one o’ clock in Woodlawn’s Dignity Hall.
