An intensely creative and curious spirit from the onset, Eric possessed the ability to excel at and heighten almost anything he set his mind to, from entertaining family and constructing intricate forts and dioramas as a child, to his pursuits of visual art, writing, and theater while attending Father Ryan High School and the University of Alabama, and later additionally all facets of film and television production throughout his life. Thinking outside of the box came naturally to him and his sharp mind and unique sense of vision shone through in each new endeavor – anyone who ever had the opportunity to work with him was without fail eager to do so again and again, as a collaborator and friend. Perhaps the most striking thing about Eric, however, was his boundless ability to give of himself, to try to bring laughter, joy, and support to all those he knew. He was steadfast in his love and loyalty, and selfless in his efforts to make the world a bit kinder, more profound, and beautiful in any way possible.
He is survived by his wife, Amanda; parents, James C. and Karen; ; brother Christopher Shawn and extended family and friends. Preceded in death by brother James C. III
