She was born in Birmingham, Alabama on November 11th, 1930 to the late Paul Anthony and Marthagreer Woods. Eugenia graduated from John Carroll High School. She married to Wesley Carter on February 12th, 1949 in Birmingham, Alabama at St. Paul Catholic Church.
Eugenia is preceded in death by her husband, Wesley Carter; and brothers, Joel Woods and Denis Woods.
She is survived by her children, Gene (Kim) Carter and Jan (David) McEver; grandchildren, Scott (Alicia) Carter; Chris (Kelly) Carter; Erin (Luis) Gonzalez; Daniel Carter; Paul Carter; Anne Marie Carter; Mark (Audry) McEver; and Timothy (Jonie) McEver; and her great-grandchildren, Wesley Carter; Oliva; Luis; Cecilia; Patricia Gonzalez; Cora Carter; Nicole Jose; and Lincoln Carter.
