MARTIN, Evelyn I.Age 95 of Mt. Juliet, passed away on Friday, the 11th of January 2013. Preceded in death by her husband, Andrew Trueman Martin; parents, Emmett and Della Robbins; and sister, Mae Redmon. Survived by her son, Dean (Barbara) Martin; daughter, Judy (William) McDaniel; grandchildren, Kimberly (Kevin) Purnell, Richard (Jenny) Martin, Craig (Jane) Martin, Lisa (Jody) Earhart and Mickey (Amie) McDaniel; nine great-grandchildren; sister, Nell Wims; brother, Dennis (Meriem) Swift; and several special nieces and nephews. She was a member of Cook's United Methodist Church. A Celebration of Life service will be conducted at two-thirty in the afternoon on Monday, the 14th of January 2013 in Woodlawn's Dignity Hall with Pastor Lee Stevenson presiding. The family invites friends to gather with them for a time of visitation at Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home on Monday beginning at noon up until the time of service. Interment immediately following the service at Woodlawn Memorial Park. Family will serve as Pallbearers. A special thanks to Gail Salaun and her caring staff at Carrick Glen Sr. Living in Mt. Juliet for their wonderful care. In lieu of customary remembrances, the family requests with gratitude that memorial contributions be sent to either Vanderbilt Children's Hospital or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
