Floyd E. McCormick

Floyd E. McCormick, age 85 of Nashville, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by loving family on Saturday, May 2nd, 2015. Preceded in death by his wife of 57 years, Inez and infant daughter, Bonita Kay. Survived by his children, Roger E. McCormick, Linda (Michael) Jones, Doyle (Ruth Ann) McCormick and Mark McCormick; special family friend, Donald Meyer; sister, Ora Lee Lewis; grandchildren, Michael (Tracy) and Morgan Taylor, Nick Jackson and Cailee McCormick; great grandchildren, Brandon, Luke, Jake, Andrew and Abby. Mr. McCormick was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War and was retired from Metro Water Services with 27 years of service. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be conducted at 1 pm Tuesday, May 5, 2015 at Hibbett & Hailey Funeral Home with Bro. Joe Coleman officiating. Visitation 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. Tuesday prior to the service. Interment will follow in Bethlehem Methodist Church Cemetery in Livingston, TN.
