
Gail graduated from Trenton High School and received a master's degree from the University of Michigan-Dearborn. She was married to Walter Roland Blanchard on November 15, 1958, in Wyandotte, Michigan.
Gail had a distinguished career in early childhood education and worked for the Romulus, Michigan school district for over 30 years. She was a dedicated member of Shiloh Outreach Church and had a passion for her horses and taking care of plants. Gail loved her family dearly and never met a stranger.
Those left to cherished Gail's memory are her children, Benjamin Blanchard, Randy Blanchard, Gail Ann Joy Blanchard and Kristie Wisterman; her grandchildren, Rebekah Hendrix, Caleb Wisterman, Isabella Wisterman, Virginia Blanchard, Bradley Wisterman, Emma Wisterman, Cody Wisterman, Matthew Wisterman and Fernando Blanchard; her great-grandchildren, Isaiah Wisterman, Silas Wisterman, Isabella Wisterman, Oliver Hendrix, Franklyn Hendrix, Theodore Hendrix and Sebastian Hendrix; her siblings, Dawn Adams and Harmony Solgot; her sister-in-law, Rose Robinson and a host of nieces and nephews.
Gail is proceeded in death by her husband, Walter Roland Blanchard; her son, Robert Steven Blanchard; her parents, Russell and Alice Robinson and her brothers, Charles and Russell Robinson.
Her presence will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
