

Glenn Joseph Legnon age, 76, sadly left us on August 3, 2022, surrounded by his family . He was born on March 19,1946 in Jeanerette, Louisiana, to the late, Roland Paul Legnon and Valerie Derise Legnon.
Glenn Joseph Legnon is survived by his loving wife Sherrill. Their romance lasted 51 years and was blessed with two wonderful sons, Paul Legnon (Lisa) of Mount Juliet and Chris Legnon (Brooke) of Nashville, also survived by his oldest son, James Legnon, two devoted grandchildren, Chelsea and Eddie; two precious great grandchildren, Isaac and the newest addition, Emilia; his three loving sisters Sandra Ecuer, Brenda Darcey, and Lisa Funez Segura, and was loved and adored by all his nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by is parents Roland Paul Legnon and Valerie Derise Legnon.
Glenn was a retired Building Engineer at Eakin Properties, where he worked for many years.
Glenn was a very loving husband, father, brother, grandpa, great grampa, neighbor, and friend with a strong passion for life and flight. He loved his country, helping people, being with family and attending every gathering with excitement. He never left without giving everyone there one of his big memorable hugs. He was a loving man that touched everyone he met with his gentle kind heart, his smile and laugh.
He had a passion for old cars and trucks and knew every detail about military fighter planes old and new. Watching his excitement and listening to his knowledge when attending car shows and aviation events was fascinating.
Glenn has touched so many lives with his kindness, he will be deeply missed.
A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held on Tuesday, August 9, 2022 from four until seven o'clock in the evening at Mount Olivet Funeral Home, and on Wednesday, August 10, from twelve noon until two o'clock in the afternoon.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at two o'clock in the afternoon on Wednesday, August 10, 2022 In Lindsley Hall of Mount Olivet Funeral Home.
