He was born on May 19, 1967 to the late James Paul and Joann Hamric Gillum. He was a man of many talents, ultimately working as an entrepreneur and computer business owner. Greg was a deep thinker and a relentless pursuer of knowledge. He loved laughter, all forms of music, and was fascinated by nature and God’s intricate creations.
Greg is survived by: his sons, Gregory Alex Gillum, Jr., Andrew Seth Gillum, and, Ethan Cole Gillum; daughter, Addison Grace Gillum; brother Gary Kent Gillum, Sr.; sisters Tori Leigh Gillum, Tonya Gillum Cain, and Maria Faye Walton; six grandchildren; 4 nephews; and, beloved friends.
There will be a private gravesite service held at Woodlawn Memorial Park on Saturday, May 16.
Due to the recent outbreak of the novel Coronavirus, we will postpone his celebration of life until the CDC’s regulations allow for larger gatherings. As a family, we wish to be respectful and join in the effort to mitigate the spread of this disease. When the appropriate time comes, we will update the information on this site and use the benefit of FaceBook and other social media to inform others of our additional plans to celebrate the life of our Greg. Our family looks forward to the time that we can all celebrate and remember together.
