Mr. Tripp was born in Nashville, TN, on May 27, 1942, the son of the late Harry Threadgill Tripp and Mary Kizer Tripp. He retired from Metro Development & Housing Agency as a maintenance supervisor. Mr. Tripp was a member of the National Corvette Museum. He enjoyed photography, boating, motorcycles, and woodworking. In addition to his parents, Mr. Tripp was preceded in death by his brother, James Edward Tripp.
Survivors include his wife of thirty-three years, Frances D. Tripp and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside and interment services will be held Wednesday, February 22, 2017, at one o’clock, Woodlawn Memorial Park.
Gathering of Family & Friends will be held Wednesday from eleven o’clock until the service hour.
