COWART, Helen Shirley - Age 78 of Nashville, passed away on November 28, 2011. Preceded in death by husband of 53 years, John William Cowart. Survived by children, Rodney Cowart, Deborah Cowart, and Eddie Cowart; and two grandchildren, Leslie and Jason Cowart. Shirley was a retired State of TN employee with over 30 years of service. She will be missed dearly by those who knew and loved her. Visitation for family and friends will be held today from four o'clock until eight o'clock this evening. A Celebration of Life service will be held at two-thirty in the afternoon on Thursday, December 1, 2011 in Woodlawn's Dignity Hall. Entombment to follow at Woodlawn's South Mausoleum.
