Helen Greer Harper

Helen is preceded in death by her parents Andrew and Edna Greer, her siblings Mary Mee and Jack Greer, her husband Harris Harper and son Andy Harper. She is survived by her sister-in-law Kathy Greer, daughter-in-law Julie Harper, son Jay (Teresa) Harper, daughter Vickie Noe, grandchildren, MaryHelen (Jerry) Hewitt, Rachel Harper, Jonathan (Heather) Harper, Elizabeth (David) Eddy, A.J. (Destiny) Noe, C.J. (Olivia) Noe, Jacob (Sarah) Harper, great-grandchildren Christopher (Tsan Yin) Hewitt, Gabriel Jarman, Jeremy Hewitt, Wesley Jarman, Lucian Botte, Katelyn Eddy, Izaiah Noe, Mackenzie Eddy, Joshua Noe, Marley Harper, and Elijah Noe along with multiple nieces and nephews.

Helen attended Donelson High School and went on to graduate from Peabody Demonstration in 1956. Helen with her husband Harris not only owned Ole Harper’s Donuts in Donelson for 31 years, but also H.H.&J Bus Leasing. She never met a stranger and was a pillar in the community her entire life. Her absence will be noticed and she will be forever missed and loved by family and friends.

Active Pallbearers are A.J. Noe, C.J. Noe, Jacob Harper, Jerry Hewitt, David Eddy and Jeremy Hewitt. Honorary Pallbearers are Gabriel Jarman, Wesley Jarman and Lucian Botte.

Visitation will be at Hibbett and Hailey Funeral Home 429 Donelson Pike, Nashville, TN 37214 on Sunday December 21 from 2-5 pm. There will also be a visitation on Monday December 22 at Donelson Presbyterian Church 2305 Lebanon Pike, Nashville, at10am with her Funeral Service at 11am. Her Interment will immediately follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
