Homer Rodriguez Mt. Juliet, TN Homer W. "Wattie" Rodriguez. He is survived by daughters, Delores Thompson (Ron), Sylvia Hollan (Bob), and son, Howard Rodriguez (Nancy); grandchildren, Brad Thompson (Walinda), Jason Thompson (Regina), Ronnie Thompson, Jr., (Jennifer), Brooks Hollan, Blair Hollan (Serina), Jacquelyn Pickartz (Michael), and John H. Rodriguez; great-grandchildren, Daniel Thompson, Joshua Thompson, Michelle Pickartz, Aleah Pickartz, Benjamen Thompson, Shelby Thompson, Levi Thompson, and step-grandaughter, Charley Yancey; and sister, Hallita C. Grusnick. He is preceded in death by his wife of 66 years, Martha Cooper Rodriguez; a grandson, James Alan Rodriguez; parents, James J. Rodriguez, Sr., and Hallie Mae Riddle Rodriguez; and brother, James J. Rodriguez, Jr. Wattie was a WWII and Korean War Veteran. He attended Auburn University and retired from Vulcan Materials, Inc.Visitation will take place at Woodlawn Roesch-Patton on Sunday, January 25, from 2 o'clock until 5 o'clock in the afternoon and again on Monday, January 26, from 4 o'clock until 8 o'clock in the evening. A Celebration of Life service will take place in Woodlawn's Dignity Hall at 1 o'clock Tuesday, January 27.The service will be officiated by Rev. Ronnie R. Thompson, Jr., and Rev. Cherie Parker.
