Irene Quinn Patterson

Patterson, Irene Quinn, age 90, passed away at home on May 27, 2022. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dalton Freeman Patterson; her mother, Zora Taylor; and father, Theodore Quinn. She is survived by her brothers, Rex Quinn and James (Mayrene) Quinn; three daughters, Sheril (Brook) Bagwell, Sheila (Steve) Slate, Michelle (Rick) Sharpe; grandchildren, Milea (Aaron) Bagwell, Kayla (Mark) Bagwell, Kari Sharpe, Dalton Sharpe, Adam (Taylor) Slate; and her great grandchildren, Cole Freeman Bagwell, Quinn Bagwell, and September and Elliott Slate.

Mrs. Patterson was a devoted member of Faith Missionary Baptist Church. She was faithful in taking her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and many other children to church with her. She was an avid and talented gardner. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren and playing in her flowers.

She was a farmer's daughter from Parsons, TN, who never thought she would travel farther than Jackson, TN. Throughout her life she has traveled to all 50 states and 4 countries.

She was greatly loved and will be dearly missed but she is celebrating in her mansion in heaven.

A gathering of family & friends for Irene will be held Monday, May 30, 2022 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home. As well as, Tuesday, May 31, 2022 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. A celebration of life service will follow Tuesday, May 31, 2022 at 10:00 AM. Burial will take place afterwards at Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Memorial Gardens.
