He is preceded in death by his parents, Howard and Daisy Wilson Brassfield and brother, Bill Brassfield.
Mr. Brassfied is survived by his wife of 59 years, Jo Ann Gilliam Brassfield; son, Jay Brassfield (Dayna); daughter, Valeria Brassfield; grandchildren, Lauren Brassfield and Trey Brassfield (Becca); brother, Jim Brassfield (Kay); sisters, Margaret Smith and Carolyn Rogers.
Jackie was a Christian man that loved his family and friends. He enjoyed golf, fishing and helping anyone in need, especially children.
Graveside services will be conducted on Thursday, February 10, 2022 at 1pm in Woodlawn Memorial Park with pastor, Paul Bane from New Hope Church, Brentwood, TN officiating. Gathering of Family and Friends will be held from 11am until 1pm at Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home prior to graveside.
Pallbearers will be, Trip Hailey, Rory Ferrell, Tom Miller, Alan Goodson, Greg Burris, Scott Mruczkowski, Chris Glaser and Jim Brassfield.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude, Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital or to any family in need.
