

Jerry Nelson Gomer, age 82, of Franklin Tennessee passed away on Saturday, October 23, 2021. Jerry was born on September 10, 1939, in Birmingham, Alabama to the late Samuel Edward and Movene Harris Gomer.
Residing most of his life in Nashville, Jerry was a graduate of Hume-Fogg High School and was a certified electrician. He later became the owner/president, of fabrication/manufacturing of HVAC companies for over 50 years obtaining multiple patents. His hobbies included owning and showing national winning championship breeds of AKC German Shepards and Rottweilers. Additional passions of Jerry's were watching old westerns, the University of Alabama football games, and attending Brentwood Baptist Church.
He will sadly be missed by his family and friends. Jerry is survived by his wife, Linda G. Gomer; daughters Sherry Gomer (Eric) Parmenter, Janice Gomer Kyle, Kim Gomer (Mike) Johnson; 6 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren; and sister Judy Taylor.
A Gathering of Family and Friends will be from four until seven in the evening on Thursday, October 28, 2021 at Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at eleven o'clock in the morning on Friday, October 29, 2021 in Dignity Hall of Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home, with a gathering of family and friends to be held one hour prior. Interment to follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park.
A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted by Eric Parmenter with Family and Guest Speakers.
Pallbearers: Mike Johnson, Bryce Johnson, Eric Parmenter, Austin Cook, Chris Arline, Jimmy Johnson, Ryan Farley, and Jackson Farley.
