Jessie Sue Claxton, age 94, passed away July 10, 2017 in Franklin, TN. Preceded in death by her husband James V. Claxton Jr., son, James V. Claxton III and brother, James P. Miles. Survived by two daughters, Betty Claxton and Janie C. (Donald) Baskette; three grandchildren, Christa Baskette, Miles (Christina) Baskette and Gina C. (Johnny) Bolton; two great-grandchildren, Brock and Katherine Bolton. Jessie was a lifetime resident of Green Hills and Brentwood, TN. Graveside service will be on Thursday, July 20, 2017 at eleven o’clock in Woodlawn Memorial Park. Gathering of family and friends will be on Wednesday evening from six o’clock until eight o’clock at Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home.
