John Alfonse Mogan, age 84, passed away on June 16, 2019 in Nashville, TN. John is preceded in death by parents, Joseph & Helen “Dolly” Mogan; siblings, Dr. Edward Mogan, Dr. Joseph Mogan, Catherine Childs, and Dr. Thomas Mogan.
John is survived by siblings, Sister Maris Stella Mogan, RSM and Sister Thomasetta Mogan, RSM; niece and caretaker, Cathy Matteson (Michael); along with numerous nieces and nephews.
John was a member of the Sigma Alpha Epsilon Fraternity at Memphis State and was employed by the Ford Glass Plant.
Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, June 19, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at Cathedral of the Incarnation with a one hour visitation held prior to the service. Burial will held at Calvary Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Sisters of Mercy Convent, 2629 Pennington Bend Rd, Nashville, TN 37214.
