Born to the late Raymond and Evelyn Hooper, Kay is also preceded in death by a husband, William Vick and their son, William Joe Vick and four siblings. She is survived by her loving husband of 43 years, Leonard L. Bogle; daughter Paula "Angie" Vick-Hoffmann (Joe); four grandchildren; a brother William (Ashley); sisters Raylene (Scott) and Charlene (Tommy); many other beloved extended family, church family and dear friends.
A faithful member of Madison Heights Baptist Church in Madison, TN, Kay remains an inspiration to many people in her community. She was a pivotal figure in the Celebrate Recovery program, where she mentored many families experiencing difficulties in their lives. Her kindness and compassion extended to anyone in her presence and Kay made many lifelong friendships. She was a graduate of Litton High School in Nashville and though she had a few reception jobs, Kay devoted her life to her family, making her career as a stay-at-home Mom.
Kay and Leonard traveled often to compete in bowling tournaments, enjoyed dancing in their younger-years and never wanted to spend a minute away from each other since the day they met. She had a tenacious spirit and a bubbly personality coupled with a keen sense of humor. Our memories made with Kay will be cherished in our hearts forever.
The family of Kay Bogle has entrusted Eastland Funeral Home for cremation who are honored to serve the family during this time.
A Celebration of the Life of Kay Bogle, officiated by Pastor Ray Marin, will be held at Madison Heights Baptist Church, Madison, TN on Saturday, April 20th, 2024 beginning at 12pm.
In lieu of flowers, the family have requested any monetary donations be made in memory of Kay Bogle to, Madison Heights Baptist Church, 815 E Old Hickory Blvd., Madison, TN 37115, where her legacy of helping others will continue.
